        As we are in the process of preparing for a new school year, we are praying and are committed to fundraise in order to provide education for more children in our schools. We want to help the students by facilitating a school book rental program. It is difficult for many children in Haitian families to attend school, and it is also a struggle to attain the required materials.
        With the book rental program, students will be able to rent the necessary books at a very low cost- roughly $3 to $4 per academic year. Normally the required books would cost the parents around $40 to $50. These books will then be rented out to different students for multiple years.  ​ 

        This year we are focusing the book rental program in two of our schools which are in the community of Delmas and Pernier. We hope to raise $4,800 for approximately 120 students from 1st through 6th grade (kindergarten not included).
        If you are interested in donating to this project, you can send a check to First Fruit or go through our PayPal account. Any amount that is greater than $100 should be made out to First Fruit. Contact us for the address, or the check can be given to one of our representatives.
