The First Fruit guest house was established by Miradieu & Dienata Estinvil in 2008 to support education programs, spiritual programs, agricultural programs and others. As a guest of the First Fruit guest house, your stay contributes toward this vision. Your visit is an answer to prayer and a blessing for which many are grateful.
The guest house is located about a twenty minute drive from the Toussaint Louverture airport in Port-au-Prince. We offer simple accommodations, good food, a swimming pool, warm hospitality and our best service. We are for mission teams, medical teams, teaching and pastoral teams, adoptive families, volunteers, artists, photographers, journalists and adventure tourists. Our guests arrive at our door from all over the world to stay for a duration of one night to several months. Our rates are reasonable and special rates are available for long-term guests. We are now able to comfortably accommodate 45 guests. Facilities We have 9 showers and 5 bathrooms facilities that are shared. Towels, sheets and pillows are provided. Water is a precious resource in Haiti and so we ask that you keep your showers short and that you flush only when necessary. |
Please note that there is no hot water for showers. The weather in Haiti is hot enough! We also have a swimming pool to cool down in.
Meals Breakfast and dinner are included in your daily rate of $40 USD (tax not included) per person. Breakfast is served from 7:00-8:00 a.m. and dinner is served from 5:00-6:00 p.m. (other arrangements can be made if the manager is notified in advance). Safety and Security The First Fruit guest house is in a walled compound and contracts with a security for 24 hours to ensure the safety for all our guests. If you wish a safe place for your cash, documents or valuables, the guest house has a safe. Please speak to the manager. Airport Pickup Transportation to and from the airport is available at $25 USD per trip for an individual and $40 USD for a group of two or more. Please ensure that the manager is aware of your airline, flight number, flight time, the number of people in your group and the amount of luggage. |
Reservations
Our standard daily rates per person are $40 USD (plus 10% tax) per day. This rate includes breakfast and dinner.

Language and Clothes
Haiti’s official languages are Creole and French. The management staff of the First Fruit guest house has fluency in French, English and Creole
