On January 12th, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Port-au-Prince, Haiti and more than 500 people were affected in our mission. Houses were damaged and some were completely destroyed. In this project, Mission Calvary Baptist Church of Redemption/First Fruit Haiti constructed 4x8 square meter homes to help families move toward safe, secure and permanent housing. Our goal is to help 100 to 200 families have these housing constructions to call home.
Since the earthquake, there have been over 20 different homes that have been constructed by MCBR and First Fruit Haiti in different areas within Port-au-Prince where the earthquake created the most damage. |

Churches and teams have fundraised for these houses to be built and have come to Haiti to help in the construction of these homes.
If you are interested in getting involved in this house construction project for the homeless there are two ways to do so: you can raise funds for a house and travel to Haiti to come help build, or you can help simply by donating to this project in order to buy materials and pay construction workers.
